Weather

Although Ontario has a wide range of climates from north to south and lakeside to interior, it is best known for it's spectacular summer thunder storms and humid summers anywhere near the Great Lakes.

Winters are stormy, with plenty of snow in the south and bitterly cold temperatures in the north. Most outdoor attractions are closed in the winter months.

There will be some 32 C days in most places in the southern part of the province, but average highs are usually around 29 C, and nights can be warm or cool (lows 12-15). Temperatures in the north are cooler.
